The Company’s professionals have successfully completed over 40 Buy-side and Sell-side M&A transactions over the years, as well as advised dozens of business owners on issues including operational efficiency, corporate development, financial reporting, business valuation, fundraising and incentive compensation.

John Burns
Managing Partner

John Burns provides mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and financial advisory services to companies in the digital advertising, marketing, and business services industries. He has over 20 years of financial management and investment banking experience, which includes the completion of over 40 M&A transactions in these industries. He founded Clare Advisors, LLC in 2014 because he is passionate about using his M&A and financial expertise to assist owners and operators of creatively driven businesses.

Geser Bat-Erdene
Financial Analyst

Geser Bat-Erdene is a financial analyst at Clare Advisors. He conducts industry research on potential M&A targets in digital advertising, marketing, technology services, and media industries. Geser also creates and performs a wide range of financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation analyses related to M&A transactions and corporate finance assignments. Additionally, he conducts financial analyses and modeling related to employee bonus-compensation plan development. He graduated with honors from the University of Alaska Anchorage with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and a French minor. He is passionate about languages, the legislative process, international relations, and diplomacy.

Evnica Fursova
Financial Analyst

As a financial analyst at Clare Advisors, Evnica executes on client assignments – including transaction execution, identifying buyers and targets, financial and legal due diligence, drafting/preparation of descriptive memoranda and management presentations. She also assists with communication, outreach and coordination between potential buyers and sellers throughout deal processes.
Evnica joined Clare Advisors after graduating from the University of Alaska Anchorage with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and an Economics minor. Outside of work, she is interested in jiu-jitsu, hiking Alaska’s beautiful mountains, rescuing plants for the office, and playing terrible golf.
